Names can be added to your PreferencePro™ email list in three ways:

1. Importing existing lists.  PreferencePro™ features a powerful Import List Wizard to help populate your email list with customer names and preference information.  Select Import List Wizard from the Subscribers pull-down menu near the top of your PreferencePro™ control panel.  This wizard will take you through the steps of uploading any Excel, TXT or CSV file to your account and assigning your imported data to the profile fields you've created in PreferencePro™.
   
   
2. Add names manually.  Email addresses and profile data may be added (or deleted) manually by selecting Add/Delete Subscribers from the Subscribers pull-down menu near the top of your PreferencePro™ control panel.
   
   
3. Online subscription forms.  Most PreferencePro™ email systems come standard with one or more online forms that allow new members to add their profile information and subscribe to your lists.

When new members are added manually to your list or use the subscription form, you also have the option of sending an automated Welcome message.  To edit this message, select Automated Messages from the Manage pull-down menu located near the top of your PreferencePro™ control panel.

If you are trying to import new profile data into PreferencePro™ , pleast note that you must define new profile fields for your list before importing new profile data.  This is done by selecting New Profiling Header or Modify Existing Header from the Profiling pull-down menu located near the top of your PreferencePro™ control panel.  You can view all existing profile fields by selecting the Preview Profile Layout from the same pull-down menu.
