In PreferencePro™ every data field except email address is considered "profile" data.  These profile fields are used to target and personalize the emails you send, but they must be created before you can use them.

Most new PreferencePro™ systems are delivered with a useful set of pre-defined profile fields such as first name, last name, communication preferences and wine club status that has already been customized for your winery.  To see a list of existing profile fields, select Preview Profile Layout from the Profiling pull-down menu located near the top of your PreferencePro™ control panel.

If you wish to add a new profile data field, the quickest way is to select Modify Existing Header from the Profiling pull-down menu.  Choose an existing group of profile attributes (an existing profile header) where you will create your new profile field.

Once you select a profile header to edit, you can add a name for your new profile attribute, specify the data type (text, number, yes/no, etc...) and where you'd like this attribute to appear in your default list. 

Press the Save Changes button to create your new profile field.

Once you've created a new profile field you can add data manually, by importing new/updated lists or adding the new profile field to your online subscription forms.
