How do I personalize the content of the emails I send? |
PreferencePro™ encourages complete personalization of all the emails you send by allowing you to include any profile data field in either the subject line or body of your email messages.
To add profile data fields to your email message, select from the list of available fields shown in the Personalization Control Panel located on the email Author screen. When you select an available profile field from the left-hand column, a corresponding personalization code will appear in the righ-hand column.
Copy and paste the personalization codes you want into the body of your email, exactly where you want them to appear. Then as each email is generated, the unique profile data associated with each email address will be included where you've pasted the personalization code.
Most PreferencePro™ systems come with pre-defined personalized templates that include customer first name in the salutation and the username/password for your online store embedded in the body of your email. These can be edited or removed at will.
