How do I use the WYSIWYG email editor? |
The easiest way to create a new HTML email in PreferencePro™ is with the WYSIWYG email editor.
If you are beginning a brand new email campaign, select a template from the Author window & press Load. If you are starting from an existing campaign, press the Switch to WYSIWYG button in the HTML Message section of the Author page.
From here you can edit you emails, enter/format new text & add graphics with a familiar toolbar similar to many word processors.
If you wish to save your work and come back to it later, use the Save As function near the bottom of the Author screen.
(NOTE: If you only wish to send a plain text message (no images or text formatting), you do not need to use the WYSIWYG editor or enter anything into the HTML Message portion of the Author window. For plain text messages, simply type your text into the window labeled Plain Text Body.)
